sweet and salty nut crunch with nori by sweetveg.org
This delicious seed and nut crunch has so many flavours and so many different textures. This can be adapted to be FODMAPS friendly by replacing almonds with macadamia nuts.
It’s so delicious my kids haven’t even noticed they are eating seaweed which they told me was ‘yuck’ prior to baking.

Thermomix directions
- Preheat oven to 180c/355f.
- Put the almonds in the TM bowl and pulse twice. Remove to a large bowl.
- Put oil and maple syrup in TM bowl at 100 degrees for 4 minutes, speed 2.
- While that is heating put all other ingredients in the large bowl with the almonds.
- Once oil and maple syrup is heated pour into the large bowl and stir until combined. Press into a large baking tin and bake for 15 to 20 minutes (15 minutes if fan forced).
- Once cool, break into small pieces.
- Enjoy your seed nut crunch!
