raspberry base with a mango topping. a delicious way to start the day
I start most days with a trip to the gym followed by a breakfast smoothie. Usually it’s the same ingredients with the only difference my choice of frozen fruit.
A standard smoothie base for me is homemade almond milk, pea protein powder, 1/2 banana, spinach and kale, frozen fruit and marine collagen. Occasionally I like to add a spoon of cacao or peanut butter.
When I couldn’t chose between raspberry or mango I through why not combine the two. The result is not only a delicious combination with the layered flavours but also a pretty cool looking breakfast.
