homemade protein balls
No need to buy store bought protein balls or bars when you can easily make them at home. There are a variety of different textures and flavours available at local supermarkets, health food stores and at shopping centre juice bars but nothing beats the freshness of homemade.
These balls mix together the sweetness of dates, peppermint flavour and cacao along with almonds and coconut. To finish them off they are rolled in chia seeds or shredded coconut.

* If you need to make almond meal I do this at home blending almonds in the Thermomix for 20 seconds on speed 9. Warning it is very loud!
